For this publication design based on The Last Days of Detroit: Motor Cars, Motown, and the Collapse of an Industrial Giant, I visually represented the city’s decline and transformation. The design reflects Detroit’s abandonment, with layouts that gradually evolve—starting with industrial decay and progressively overtaken by organic, green elements, symbolizing nature reclaiming the ruins. Through typography, imagery, and color, I created a compelling visual narrative that immerses readers in the city’s past and its evolving landscape.
